香蕉传媒 campuses in Hickory, Asheville and Columbia offer local businesses the option to participate in the Friends of LR discount program.
Originally created in collaboration with the 鈥 a board aimed at strengthening the relationship between Hickory鈥檚 institutions of higher learning and their home city 鈥 the program allows LR to connect with the city through commerce. We invite businesses to express support for LR through discounts and special offers to the campus community, and we encourage LR students, faculty and staff to patronize participating businesses.
Currently, more than 50 businesses provide LR discounts, with new members joining every week. Any business is invited to participate in the program by offering a discount to LR students, faculty and staff. Businesses are also welcome to extend their discounts to LR alumni and families.
All Friends of LR receive a flag, pennant and 鈥淲e Support LR鈥 sticker to display in your business. LR and University City Commission thank you for your local support and the many ways you add value to the community.
Register a Business
If you would like to offer a discount to LR students, faculty and staff, you can simply place the 鈥淲e Support LR鈥 sticker in your business window. We also request you complete a registration form so we can maintain a current list of discount offerings.
By uploading a digital version of your business logo, we will advertise your business on a rotating basis on on-campus televisions and in university publications.
