Description
Terra Alta D.O. wine area is a part of the “Terres de l’Ebre Biosphere Reserve”.
I follow a natural way to cultivate the vines, for example, I use manure instead of chemical fertilizer or I plough the land instead using weed killer…
In the same sense, the winery is designed in order to use as minimum quantity as possible of SO2 (sulphites) to protect the wines, sometimes around half quantity of the authorized for the organic wines (150 mg/L). (EU) No 203/2012 see ANNEX VIIIa
This wine contents 52 mg/L of SO2.
The Biosphere Reserve logo (see below) on the labels means that the vineyards, winery, wines and processes are approved by the “Terres de l’Ebre Biosphere Reserve” Committee.
Tasting Notes
This Grenache Blanc is organically grown, dry farmed and hand harvested. It has aromas of green fruit, citrus and white peach. The palate is rich and juicy with those same green fruit and citrus notes coming through as well as honeysuckle, dried herbs and almonds on the finish.
