Description
This is the new vintage of the wine previously known as La Conreria de Scala Dei. From now on, this Spanish red wine will be called Nona. The packaging has also been redesigned, with a colourful, lively label which contrasts with the usual style of the La Conreria d'Scala Dei winery.
A blend of Grenache, Merlot and Syrah, this red wine from Priorat is made from estate-owned vineyards 10 to 15 years of age. They are planted on terraces and slopes near the towns of Scala Dei and La Morera.
Each variety and individual parcel were separately harvested. Fermented and macerated in stainless steel tanks for 2 months, Nona 2019 was subsequently aged for 10 months in French oak barrels. Bottled unfiltered, it was aged for some months in the bottle before its commercial release.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
