Description
The Lustau House was founded in 1896 and today is one of the first companies producing wines, brandies and vinegars in Jerez, maintaining its traditional character and specialization in the high quality segment. Currently they offer not only the highest quality sherries, but also the widest range of them, with more than 40 wines marketed from the wineries located in the three cities that make up the sherry: Jerez de la Frontera, El Puerto of Santa María and Sanlúcar de Barrameda.
Elaboration
Aged in American oak barrels in the humid and salty environment of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, a coastal town located on the estuary of the Guadalquivir River.
Testing Note
Pale straw color. Clean and complex, salty notes and nuts predominate, with a touch of sea breeze on the nose. Light and dry to the palate.
Pairing
t is the perfect dry appetizer, ideal to serve cold with fish and seafood or accompanying varied tapas, sushi and sashimi.
