ERP Data Analyst


Location: Hickory, North Carolina

The ERP Data Analyst role will involve troubleshooting system issues, providing user training and ensuring the ERP system is aligned with the university's strategic goals. The ERP Data Analyst will also be responsible for maintaining system documentation, performing regular system audits and staying updated with the latest ERP technologies and trends. The successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for ERP system improvements.
  • Design and implement ERP solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather and document technical requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ERP system issues.
  • Provide training and support to ERP system users.
  • Maintain and update system documentation.
  • Perform regular system audits to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Stay updated with the latest ERP technologies and trends.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure system functionality.
  • Coordinate with vendors and external consultants for system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Monitor system performance and implement optimizations as needed.
  • Ensure ERP system compliance with university policies and industry regulations.
  • Assist in the development of ERP-related policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ERP system implementation projects.
  • Provide technical support during ERP system upgrades and migrations.

Education and Qualifications

  • Preferred bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, computer engineering or a related field (or requisite job experience and certifications to replace)
  • Minimum of three years of experience in ERP system analysis and implementation.

Required Experience, Knowledge and Ability

  • Strong understanding of business processes and ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in ERP software and tools such as PowerCampus, PowerFaids, Axiom, Microsoft SQL.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with system documentation and user training.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Familiarity with data security and compliance standards.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to stay updated with the latest ERP technologies and trends.
