Music Performance Minor

Nurture your lifelong passion for performing music and enhance the study of your instrument or voice.

Perhaps you studied music in high school and want to continue to exercise your talents or want to balance your demanding major with a creative outlet. Our minor in Music Performance prepares you with a performing proficiency in organ, piano, voice, or any of the orchestral instruments (brass, winds, strings, percussion).

Our coursework allows you to hone your skills as it focuses on the important fundamentals of music. Courses also include an emphasis on classical music, allowing you to fully appreciate the traditional art form.

A minor in Music Performance is open only to Music majors. The minor requires the completion of a minimum of 18-19 hours.
