Human & Community Service Minor


Thrive in your dedication to serving others and make a difference by minoring in human and community service.

Your desire to assist others and change the world for the better makes a minor in Human and Community Service a great fit. Our program introduces you to the philosophy and values of social work and allows you to develop an understanding of various social systems, multi-cultural perspectives and challenges faced by today’s communities.

You will gain an understanding of existing agencies, how they work and how you can be a leader of change by partnering with them.

A minor in Human and Community Service is especially applicable for those majoring in such programs as psychology, counseling, community health, nursing and religious studies.
