Stephanie Woodard joined the faculty at Ï㽶´«Ã½ in 2021. She is an assistant professor and teaches courses in education. In addition, she serves as the coordinator for the Master of Arts in Teaching program. As a writer, scholar and educator, Woodard has more than 15 years of experience in educating, coaching and training teachers.

Her research has been featured in top journals such as the Journal of Negro Education, the Journal of Multicultural Education and the Journal of African American Males in Education. She has also co-authored several book chapters and books, including Political, Legislative and Economic Solutions to Urban Education and the Implications on Teacher Preparation, released in fall 2021. 

Woodard currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she enjoys time with her family.
